Café Capello is a local family owned coffee shop, eatery and community gathering space in the gorgeous Riverwalk District of Downtown Reno. We offer a variety of beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, loose leaf teas, hot chocolate, chai and more. Come taste our hand crafted menu while you enjoy the sights and sounds of the nearby Truckee River and the vibrant downtown area.

We roast all of our own coffees, which are sourced from a variety of farms around the world. Because our coffee is sourced and roasted by us, you won’t find coffee like this anywhere else. Café Capello also hosts the Holland Project Satellite Gallery. Enjoy some locally roasted coffee and check out the rotating art and photography exhibits by local young creatives at Café Capello.

Our Coffee

At Café Capello, we have a serious passion for coffee (without taking ourselves too seriously). Our coffee is roasted fresh by Brendan, Café Capello’s owner and head barista. Every bean is sourced from the highest quality coffee farms and hand-roasted in small batches to ensure quality and consistency.

Looking for something else special? We also have house made Italian soda, mocha, espresso shots, chai, cold brew & more.

Our Food

We serve food every day from 7am—2pm, and pastries are available all day until we sell out. Our pastries are locally baked fresh every morning at House of Bread. Our rotating pastry selection includes coffee cake, scones, New York style bagels, muffins and more.
